The July TBR

Am I the only one enjoying 2020? Simply because I get to read as much as I can? It has only been a couple of months since I got back to reading consistently… 7 months to be exact and I read at a snails pace of about 180 word a minute while the average is around 250 wpm. To be honest, I read faster now when compared to the speed in December! My list may not be huge, but sure is a lot for someone like me!

I sure am super excited to finish these books this month!

  1. 1984 by George Orwell
  2. How Will You Measure Your Life by Clayton M Christensen
  3. Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
  4. Nemesis by Jo Nesbo
  5. Blankets by Craig Thompson
  6. Dahan by Suchitra Bhattacharya
  7. A People’s Constitution by Rohit De

For this month, Nemesis by Jo Nesbo is the book I’ll be reading to check off one more country – Norway from the project named Cross Borders I am undertaking to read atleast one book from each country in the World!

Also, Dahan by Suchitra Bhattacharya is the book to wrap up the state of West Bengal in my Project India where I aim to read one book from each state in India! Dahan is also going to be a book written by a woman for this month!

Talking about Project India, it’s weird that I just got to know that I could add George Orwell‘s books in it as an author born in Bihar, India!

Not really sure why I was so excited to share this bit here, but well :p

Also, I am planning to read for 24 hours straight on July 6th! I’d perhaps finish reading all the fiction books on that day and enjoy having a great time with the non ficiton books I’ve planned!

I’d love to know the book you are reading or the ones you planned to read this month! Please do drop in a comment!

Also, here’s the song for today’s post…

Until Next time!
More Power to You!

All the Book Covers are from Goodreads.
